Tri-M Honor Society
Tri-M Music Honor Society, othewise known as “Modern Music Masters”, is a national music honor society under the Music Education National Conference (MENC). It is open to lower and upper students (grade 6-12) who meet the eligibility requirements. You must be enrolled in a year-long music class for the current academic year, an overall grade average of B- or higher in the previous academic year, music grade average of B+ or higher in previous academic year, and pay dues ($10) upon acceptance and yearly thereafter. Tri-M is a service oriented group. Please contact your student’s band director for information on participation. Class announcements will also be made about meeting times, etc.
Hours – You can earn your volunteer hours at the concession stands on Tuesday or Thursday evenings after band practice. There are games almost every Tuesday and on Thursdays when the JV/Freshman play at home. Please contact a band booster officer or email at daytonbandbooster@gmail.com.
High School
Earn your hours cleaning out the trailer this Saturday (11-13) between 2 – 3pm at the high school. It is full of cardboard that needs to be put in the recycle bin. See your Tri-M President for additional information
